Flowers within the Loft arrives on DVD in AprilIt flickered across TV screens merely a couple of short days ago, captivating 6.a million audiences, now Lionsgate Home Theatre has introduced the approaching DVD discharge of Flowers within the Loft, the most recent film adaptation from the best-selling book by V.C. Andrews.
Remaining more in keeping with the novel than previous incarnations, “Flowers Within The Attic” features an exciting-star cast which includes Louise Graham (Boogie Nights), Academy Award® Champion Ellen Burstyn (Best Actress inside a Leading Role, Alice Does not Live Here Any longer, 1975) and Kiernan Shipka (AMC's "Mad Males").
It's a medieval story of 4 brothers and sisters who, following the dying of the father, are torn from the peaceful existence and exposed to abuse caused by a dark, family secret. Abandoned by their mother and compelled to pass through unthinkable treatment residing in the loft of the grandparents' mansion, the kids form their very own family. But because the earliest boy and girl come old both psychologically and physically while taking care of their more youthful brothers and sisters, they're entrapped by their family's sordid past because they attempt to survive and escape the tough living conditions.
The discharge will feature the initial 1.78:1 widescreen form of the film and arrive having a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Like a bonus feature, the disc will even have a Behind-the-Moments Featurette.
“Flowers within the Attic” will arrive on DVD on April 15 from Lionsgate Home Theatre for $14.98. No Blu-Ray version continues to be introduced.
